A Notice to Comply letter is a lease enforcer used to keep your tenants from forgetting any outstanding items required for your information or lease requirements. Sometimes a lease is executed while certain items are not present as they should be. Other items you require may not be available until sometime after the lease signing.

Items to Include

Important items you may need to complete your tenant file may include:

• Various Service contracts for which the tenant agrees to be responsible, such as heating service contract, landscaping, cleaning, exterminating, etc.
• "Copy of Renters Insurance Policy"
• Tenant's new telephone #
• Unpaid charges

How to Use this Form

The Notice to Comply with lease terms and submit items is a simple, straightforward checklist form to request tenant compliance officially and in writing. The tenants will know they are dealing with a landlord who expects the lease to be adhered to when they are notified to submit items as agreed.
