I've rented to this family for the last 5 years. They pay rent and are otherwise good tenants. However, recently the tenants (young couple) have had their parents move in to help take care of them. Everything was kosher we updated the lease and all is well.

The last 6 months I've been getting tickets about needing to get the carpet replaced and they would pay for it. I guess mom and dad have bowel issues where they can't make it to the bathroom. They will leak their poop on the carpet and it has been staining.

I got some more information because my issue is that if they keep pooping all over the place then it is going to keep damaging the new carpet.

I know I can't evict because this sounds more medical than anything, but I don't know what to do as I keep getting their dumps all over my new carpet.

TL'DR Mom and dad moved in and have been accidentally pooping on my carpet. I don't know what to do.

I forgot to add. I also live on the property in a separate room. I rent the rest of the house to them. I feel it is a nuisance as I can smell and sometimes hear when they poop themselves. I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do. I'm also older and have mobility issues.
