Landlord Tenant Court - Eviction: Tenant At Will

Recent Courtroom Victories

The Landlord Protection AgencyThe Landlord Protection Agency® presents John Reno, Esq., a highly experienced Landlord - Tenant attorney based on Long Island, NY.

The following is an actual Recent Courtroom eviction.
The interesting thing about this one is that the landlord is evicting his 57 year old daughter, a tenant-at-will, who grew up in the home and over the years has come and gone. In 2012, she and a sister moved back in to take care of their mother who was ill and passed away in October of 2013. On October 29, 2013, petitioner had respondent served with a 30 day notice to vacate. When she failed to leave, this eviction proceeding was commenced with the respondent as a tenant-at-will.

Trial Decision, District Court of Nassau County, First District, L&T Part, Index No. LT-005630-13
