Transferring Property Management Responsibilities and need to Notify the Tenant?

In the event you decide to hire a property manager for your occupied rental property, you'll need to officially notify the existing advise the tenants of the change in management and other details affecting their tenancy.

The New Property Management Transfer Notification form will help you break the news to the tenant that there will be a new manager in charge of the rental.

The notice also explains that the lease agreement remains unaffected during the transfer of management and that all the terms and agreements therein are still in force. The form also introduces the identity of the new property manager or management company and instructs the tenant where, to whom and how to pay the rent.     Dear Mr. Reno:
    Tenant will not pay security deposit as stated on the lease. She moved in saying VA was holding up her money, promised but never paid the deposit.
    Can I evict her for violation of her lease due to the fact she did not pay the security deposit? Is it not a violation of the lease to not pay the security deposit, since its in the lease that its to be paid. Sincerely,

    A: NO, NO, NO CAN DO. You know you should not have given her possession w/o security deposit! But you did, and what's done is done. Now move on.

    If they don't pay the rent, you evict for non-pay. You want to evict now, because someday in the future, you may have to evict? That makes no sense. Trust me on this. You can send them reminder to pay security notices- but no court. That would be a mistake.
